Well hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My first cousin once removed who lives in Australia asked me recently if I have any information about my grandfather and her great-grandfather William Jubb. Of course I had but as is often the case, I just hadn’t put it into any sort of order. Well now I have and here it is. We’re rather short on photos and maps though but I may add some maps at a later date to add some context to where the family lived. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
William’s life was very typical of the times, he worked hard, he was involved in WW1 but only for the last 3 or 4 months and fortunately for me and his other descendants, he escaped the experience unscathed. He was a hard-working man who provided for his family and brought them all up to be decent and hard-working human beings. I’m proud to be descended from him.
