Well hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it?
My first cousin once removed who lives in Australia asked me recently if I have any information about my grandfather and her great-grandfather William Jubb. Of course I had but as is often the case, I just hadn’t put it into any sort of order. Well now I have and here it is. We’re rather short on photos and maps though but I may add some maps at a later date to add some context to where the family lived.
William’s life was very typical of the times, he worked hard, he was involved in WW1 but only for the last 3 or 4 months and fortunately for me and his other descendants, he escaped the experience unscathed. He was a hard-working man who provided for his family and brought them all up to be decent and hard-working human beings. I’m proud to be descended from him. You can read his story here.
